Gigaclear heads trio of business expansions at Abingdon Business Park

Gigaclear plc, Michael Weinig (UK) and M-Flow Technologies Ltd have more than doubling their floor space at the park.

Abingdon Business Park is delighted to announce major business expansions with Gigaclear plc, Michael Weinig (UK) and M-Flow Technologies Ltd more than doubling their floor space at the park.

Recent tender wins along with additional funding and investment has enabled Gigaclear, the pure fibre ultrafast broadband provider, who previously occupied 3,000 sq ft at Hitching Court, to move to the newly refurbished Windrush Court occupying a two floors of office suites totaling 10,500 sq ft. Gigaclear provides broadband speeds up to 30 times faster than the UK average to rural homes and businesses. Such speeds mean a three-hour feature film can be downloaded in 1 minute, 23 songs can take less than 10 seconds to download, and 200 photos less than 10 seconds to upload.

Another home grown success story at Abingdon Business Park is the expansion of M-Flow Technologies Ltd, a flow metering technology business operating in the upstream oil and gas sector. The business is vacating their 3,000 sq ft premises at Hitching Court and taking 9,900 sq ft at Unit 2 Blacklands Way in order to facilitate ongoing expansion on a 10 year term.

Woodworking machine manufacturer Michael Weinig (UK) have also taken a further 8,100 sq ft at the park, where they have been based for over 25 years.

“It is a great pleasure to see three of our existing occupiers expanding due to increased business opportunities and we are delighted to have been able to accommodate their business needs. Gigaclear, Michael Weinig (UK) and MFlow are high caliber occupiers and we look forward to the businesses prospering further at the park. “We have taken significant steps to refurbish existing buildings whilst providing our tenants with a proactive, fresh occupier focused approach, in order to support their growth and expansion.”
